Our Mission

Pristine Foundation is a community based non profit organization founded with the goal of bringing altruism to Nigerian communities. It was founded primarily to give every despondent child equal opportunity at education and what they need to survive in life. Over the years, we widen our horizon by not just focusing on child education alone but also children and human welfare. So far, we have recorded significant successes in our activities all across Nigeria and the United States. We have worked with the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria and many international bodies like American Red Cross, Lead Nigeria, Islamic Foundation of St. Louis, to mention a few, to deliver food items and medical supplies to internally displaced persons across Nigeria.

We have also organized vocational training for men and women among the displaced people to facilitate self-sufficiency.

Having noticed the nation’s focus on sincere and massive countering of terrorism and re-settling of displaced people back to their homes, we discover a vacuum is created in other institutions most especially, education and healthcare. We understand this, and know the Nigerian government can not solve all institutional problems. To this effect, we put together a state-to-state mission where we take child education and healthcare to families across Nigeria one community at a time. This mission takes our medical and non-medical team to vulnerable communities who rather can not afford education and healthcare.

One of the initiatives we piloted in the past, A-School-in-A-Bag, though short-lived due to financial constraints, was very successful. This model have children in pods headed by one of our volunteers per school year. We tend to improvise tree shades and abandoned buildings for classrooms. The children are each provided school supplies to facilitate learning in class and at home. As of now, we have about 121 orphaned or abandoned children under our care. We also have built makeshift clinics in different communities that lack medical centers.

We have always relied on personal finances and donations from well-meaning people across the world. 80% of our funding is from friends and family. We are quick to run out of supplies because the needs enormously outweigh our resources.
